About Campus Crosswalk Magazine
From the Editor

Campus Crosswalk (CCW) is a relevant resource for making the gospel of hope clear for college age young adults and those who work with them. CCW is overseen by a national board of campus ministers, serving among the churches of Christ.

Our Mission: Christians share a conviction that God can and has used the written word for great gain in His kingdom. CCW has carried the written word into many hearts and minds to help young adults think creatively about faith, hope and love. CCW gives written form to biblical principles in ways that are interesting, relevant and inviting to college age seekers and believers. Talking the walk can help students walk the talk. CCW also gives a voice (in writing) to campus ministers and students to inspire greater interest in God’s work.

Our History: Steven Eckstein’s idea for a Bible Chair Journal was eagerly approved at the Second National Bible Chair Lectureship in 1957. It was launched in 1958 with Earle McMillan of the University of Texas as the first editor. The name, Bible Chair Journal, eventually became Campus Journal, and then was called Campus CrossWalk near the time Jim Brinkerhoff became the president of the CCW Board in the early ‘90s. Our current president is Jim Barnett, campus minister at Southern Methodist University.

CCW works with people who are committed to the mutual tasks of loving and learning. Love to learn and learn to love!

In CCW, you will find a wide variety of insightful articles by many different writers to reach young adults for the progress of the good news! CCW also keeps a directory on line to help young people find contact information regarding active campus ministries nation-wide. In addition, you'll find some of these tools:
