Jason served as Student Director of the University Christian Student Center at Tennessee Tech University while completing his B.S. Mechanical Engineering (1989). Then he served as a missionary to Prague, Czech Republic (90-91), before returning to the U.S. to marry Julie Anderson (92) and complete a M.S. Missions (93) and a Master of Divinity (94), both from Abilene Christian University. In 1994, they returned to Prague on a church planting team and stayed until 2000.
 
Since 2001, Jason has served as campus minister to West Virginia University, in Morgantown, WV, where he directed the 2004 National Campus Ministries Seminar. Jason was appointed to the Campus CrossWalk board in 2005 to serve as directory and news editor.
 
Jason and Julie have two sons Jericho and Jacob, who were born in 1996 and 1998 respectively (and one dog, Mocha, a Lhasa Apso). Jason enjoys golf, reading, and playing ball (of all kinds) with his sons. But two ACL replacement surgeries keep him off the basketball court. And, of course, he loves being with his wife Julie.
