2004 Summer Issue
What's the Difference?
As the French used to say, “Vive la difference!” (Long live the
difference) Differences matter! Often, they’re awesome! Every link on this site can help you find clarity of thought and faith, resisting the over-extended notion that all ideas, people, cultures and religions are essentially the same. Wisdom rises where important differences are clarified in fair and graceful ways. Authentic education is not found in believing every side of every issue.

In This Issue
Christians are called to be different. So are churches. We're called to think kindly and clearly! We search out the differences between good and evil. We know there’s a difference between loving sinners and loving sin; righteousness and religiosity; obedience and legalism; patience and procrastination, a truth and a lie, diversity and divisiveness; art and idolatry; peace-making and appeasement; and love and lust. Vive la difference!
